ITEM: hood panel, flameco red
DESCRIPTION:
The Paint on this hood panel is Flamenco Red Metallic (BMW Paint Code 470), but the hood panel has been repainted, so I am not sure that this paint will perfectly match Genuine BMW Paint. The hood is in overall good condition, there are a number of scratches and scrapes in the paint. The most noticeable and deep scratch is towards the bottom left corner of the hood. This scratch is about 3" long and has penetrated through all layers of paint. There are also 3 scuffs along the left body line of the hood. All of these scuffs are not as deep but have still penetrated through to the primer coat of the paint. The top left corner of the hood has a small 2" scratch as well. In the center bottom of the hood there are 2 small groupings of scratches in-between the windshield washer nozzles. On the bottom right side along the lower body line from the right "nostril" there is a long grouping of scratches that extend 12" across the hood. Otherwise, there are no dents or irregular bends. There are also no rusting issues on this hood panel. The heat blanket underneath of the hood is sagging and will most likely need to be replaced. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
