DESCRIPTION:
This drive shaft was taken from a 2001 530i Sedan with ~185k miles and an Automatic Transmission. The front flex disk has some wear and rotting, so it should be replaced. The center support bearing moves smoothly and quietly. The universal swivel joint moves smoothly and quietly. The CV joint at the rear of the shaft has some rotational play, but it moves in all directions smoothly. Replace the joint at your discretion. The paint is missing from nearly the entirety of the rear section, and it is flaking and missing in patches on the front section. There are no serious oxidation issues. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
