ITEM: left side mirror, maldives blue
DESCRIPTION:
The paint on this side mirror is Maldives Blue 2 (BMW paint code: A15). This mirror is for cars with Auto Dip (BMW option code: S430A). It is NOT for cars with Fold in Outside Mirrors (S313A) or High Gloss Shadow line Trim (S760A). The mirror panel has lost some of its dimming fluid, so the dimming function will not operate until the mirror panel is replaced. The painted dome has a protective vinyl cover applied to it, but the vinyl is cracked and has allowed lots of dirt in beneath it. The vinyl should be removed and hopefully the paint is nice underneath. There is faded and flaking clear coat along the top of the dome. The dome has no deep scrapes or cracks. The joint has some play, so the mirror body has some wiggle. The sail is undamaged, and all the mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
