ITEM: piston/rod set of 6, 156k
CONDITION:
This set of piston and connecting rod assemblies was taken from a running, driving 1987 325i Convertible with ~156k miles. One piston has some damage from pre-detonation or pinging. The damage is not extensive. Otherwise, the pistons have some carbon staining, but no serious buildup or other damage. The piston rings are included, but they should be replaced before installing the pistons. The piston skirts have some light scuff marks. The worst of the damage feels rough and wavy to my passing fingernail. There are no deep score marks. The connecting rods are healthy. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. These are used original BMW parts.
