DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was removed from a 1988 325ix Coupe with approximately 199k miles. The cast part number is: 1278921. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder walls show clear cross-hatch honing marks throughout. I see a few extremely light scuffs in places, but no serious or widespread damage. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The exterior has minor surface rust with no deep pitting, and all mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included. The oil filter stand is not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
