ITEM: driveshaft, auto, 171k
CONDITION:
This drive shaft was taken from a running, driving 1988 325i Convertible with ~171k miles and an Automatic Transmission. The front flex disk is hard and cracking, so it should be replaced. The front universal joint moves smoothly in all directions. The center support bearing barely moves, so it should be replaced. The rear U-joint binds along one axis, and there is a notch near the center position. The joint is not completely seized. The shaft has some minor rusting issues, mostly towards the front and rear ends. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
