DESCRIPTION:
This engine was taken from a running 1995 318ti with ~96k miles. The engine ran smoothly during testing. The engine includes only what is shown in the photos. The valve cover and oil pan are included. Belt-drive accessories, intake and exhaust manifolds, and oil filter stand are NOT included. Cylinder compression and leak-down tests were performed on each cylinder, yielding the following results: Cylinder #1: 150psi/15% leakage, Cylinder #2: 185psi/3%, Cylinder #3: 170psi/3%, Cylinder #4: 165psi/3%.
The higher leakage from cylinder #1 appears to be primarily from the exhaust valves. The engine housing has no damage or cracks, and all mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
