DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was taken from a 1999 328i Convertible with ~168k miles. It is the 3.2 ratio rack (not the 2.7). The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. The motion of the rack is smooth and quiet, with no irregular play. The left output has very light surface rust that should clean up well. The housing has minor oxidation with no pitting and no cracks, and all mounting points are intact. The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
