DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was taken from a running, driving 1997 328i Coupe with ~265k miles. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder linings have some minor vertical scuffs. There are no deep score marks or scrapes. None of the damage is deep enough to be felt by a passing fingernail. All the linings show original honing markings, throughout. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The housing exterior has some surface rusting, but no deep pitting. All the mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
