ITEM: steering rack, 2.7, 138k
DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was taken from a 1999 Z3 2.8 Roadster with ~138k miles. This is the 2.7 ratio rack, not the 3.2 ratio version. The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. The motion of the rack is smooth and quiet, with no irregular play or binding. The housing has some minor oxidation, but no deep pitting or other damage. All the mounting points are intact. The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
