ITEM: 3.15 LS differential rear, 230k
DESCRIPTION:
This differential was taken from a 1998 Z3 2.8 Roadster with ~230k miles and a Manual Transmission. The drive ratio is 3.15, and this is a Torsen-style limited-slip differential. The locking occurs only while moving, not when stationary like a traditional clutch-type LSD. The motion of this diff is smooth and normal, with no clicking, binding, or irregular play. The housing has some minor surface rusting, but no deep pitting or serious damage. All the mounting points are intact. The flanges are undamaged. The rear cover is not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
