This differential was taken from a running, driving 1997 Z3 2.8 Roadster with ~236k miles and a Manual Transmission. The drive ratio is 3.15, and this is a Torsen-style limited-slip differential. The locking occurs only while moving, not when stationary like a traditional clutch-type LSD. The motion of this diff is smooth and normal, with no clicking, binding, or irregular play. The housing has no minor surface rusting, but no deep pitting or serious damage. All the mounting points are intact. The flanges are undamaged. The rear cover is not included.
