This differential was taken from a 2002 540i Touring with ~223k miles, an Automatic Transmission, and Short Final Drive option (BMW option code: S204A). The drive ratio is 3.15, and this is an open-drive differential. The motion of smooth and normal. The housing has moderate rusting, including some flaking metal. The housing is solid an all the mounting points are intact. The rear cover is not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
