DESCRIPTION:
This drive shaft was taken from a 2002 540i Touring with ~136k miles and is for cars with an Automatic Transmission ONLY (BMW Option Code S205A). The front flex disk and center support bearing have some dry rot and wear, so they should be replaced. The universal joint moves smoothly in all directions, with no irregular play. The rear CV joint also moves normally in all directions, with no binding or irregular play. The rubber boot on the CV joint moves slightly with the joint, but it does not leak. There is some minor surface rusting on the rear of the shaft, but no serious or widespread damage. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
