ITEM: engine block, 185k
DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was taken from a 2001 530i Sedan with ~185k miles. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder linings all show original honing marks, throughout. There are some very light scuffs in some areas, but there is no scoring or serious wear. The #6 cylinder has small scratches around the head gasket sealing surface. I can feel the scratches, but they are not seriously deep or large. Make sure you inspect this and repair at your own discretion. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The housing exterior has no rubbing or cracks, and all the mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included, as shown. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
