DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was taken from a running 2005 Z4 2.5i Roadster with ~191k miles. The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. The motion so the rack is smooth and quiet, with no irregular play or binding. The housing has no rubbing or cracks, and all the mounting points are intact. There is some light surface rusting around the outer edges of the rack gear, where the tie rods attach. There is no deep pittng, and the surfaces should clean up well.The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
