This is the seat motor that adjusts the overall height of the left front, driver's, seat. There is variance between gearboxes and vehicle models that BMW makes difficult to determine. Please verify the motor and gearbox you are replacing looks exactly like the one shown. The gear box is able to be swapped over from the one from your car. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
