ITEM: hood panel, black sapphire
DESCRIPTION:
The paint on this hood panel is Black Sapphire Metallic (BMW Paint Code: 475), but the panel has been repainted so the finish may not match OEM paint perfectly. The paint job was poorly done. The finish is dull and has lots of orange peel texture and some fisheyes from dust stuck under the paint. The orange peel could be fixed with wet sanding and polishing if clear coat thickness allows. There are 4 convex dents from something making contact with the underside of the hood. These dents are circled with removable marker in the photos. There are various scratches and chips all throughout. Otherwise, there is no major damage. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
