ITEM: engine block, 225k
DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was taken from a running, driving 1988 535i with ~225k miles. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder linings all show original honing marks, throughout. There are some very faint scuffs visible in a few spots, but nothing serious or widespread. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The housing exterior has some surface rusting, but no deep pitting. All the mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included, as shown. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
