DESCRIPTION:
This rear differential was removed from a 1988 325ix Coupe with ~199k miles and a manual transmission. The drive ratio is 3.91, and it is a clutch-style limited-slip unit. The locking function is tested and worn. I can rotate the output flanges in opposite directions by hand with moderate force, indicating light slip that will affect performance. The housing has moderate exterior flaking and rusting, but there is no deep pitting, and all mounting points are intact. The flanges are undamaged. The rear cover is not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Wear items such as seals and bearings are not guaranteed. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
