CONDITION:
This drive shaft was taken from a running, driving 1997 Z3 2.8 Roadster with ~236k miles and a Manual Transmission. The front flex disk is intact, but worn, so replace it at your discretion. The sliding spline joint just in front of the center support bearing has a small amount of rotational play. The center support bearing moves smoothly. The front universal swivel joint moves smoothly in all directions. The rear U-joint also moves smoothly, without notches or binding. There are some rubbing spots where heat shields contacted the rotating drive shaft. There are no serious paint or rusting issues. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
