This differential was removed from a 2003 540i sedan with ~174k miles and a manual transmission. The drive ratio is 2.81, and this is an open differential. The motion is smooth and quiet with no irregular play, clicking, or binding. The housing has no serious paint or corrosion issues, and all mounting points are intact. The flanges are undamaged.
