M-Sport (ZHP) Front Control Arms

These control arms offer a stiffer ball joints for sharper steering response. Since these are a common wear item, the M-Sport control arms offer a nice upgrade when replacing the worn factory arms.

They are a direct bolt in upgrade and require no modifications to fit.

E60 OEM Short Shifter

The Factory E60 5-Series shifter offers a shorter throw compared to the factory E46 shifter. Pair this up with new shifter bushings and a weighted ZHP Shift Knob and you will feel a night and day difference.

This is a direct bolt in upgrade. No modifications required.

M-Sport Weighted Shift Knob (ZHP)

This shift knob sits much lower and is weighted for easier shifts and smoother engagment. This is a great addition to the short shifter mentioned previously.

M-Sport / M3 Steering Wheel

Although this is not a performance upgrade, the M3 steering wheel offers a thicker wheel with thumb grips, which gives the car a much sportier feel. Some of the most satisfying upgrades are the ones that you touch while driving (Shifter, steering wheel, seats).

This is typically a direct swap upgrade. If you already have a tri-spoke sport steering wheel you can reuse your existing airbag. If you have the 4 spoke steering wheel you will have to source a round sport style airbag. Early models with the triangular airbag require further modifications.

Bonus: E46 M3 Exhaust Bolts

The factory exhaust bolts (header to mid pipe) are often damaged and rusted. When replacing these we recommend using the factory E46 M3 bolts. These bolts are much stronger and dont tend to rust as badly.
