DESCRIPTION:
This propeller drive shaft was removed from a 1973 3.0S with an automatic transmission. The front flex disk is very hard and should be replaced. The front universal joint is healthy and moves smoothly in all directions. The center support bearing feels grainy and should be replaced. The sliding spline joint just behind the center support bearing has a small amount of rotational play. The rear universal joint is not seized, but it has some resistance along one axis. There are no serious notches or major play issues in this joint. The shaft has a coating of surface rust over most of the exterior. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
