DESCRIPTION:
This M30B30 engine cylinder block housing was removed from a 1973 3.0S with ~24k miles on the odometer. The cylinders are bored for 88.97mm pistons. The cast part number is 1252446, the date code is 24E73, and the VIN stamped into the starter ear is 3134787. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder walls still show original crosshatch throughout. There are no serious vertical scuffs, but each cylinder has a horizontal ring near the top, likely from a piston resting in that area for an extended period. These marks are deep enough to catch a fingernail and are similar in size and depth across all cylinders. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The exterior has some minor rust but no serious pitting or cracks. All mounting points and main bearing caps are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition.
