ITEM: piston/rod set of 6, 88.97
DESCRIPTION:
This set of piston and connecting rod assemblies was removed from a 1973 E3 3.0S. These are flat top pistons with a marked diameter of 88.97mm. The piston crowns have some carbon staining, but I see no permanent damage. The piston rings are included, but they should be replaced before installing the pistons. Several of the skirts have moderate score marks and scuffs. Some of the scoring is near the wrist pin. There are no cracks. all of the pistons move smoothly on the wrist pin. The worst of the damage can be viewed in the photos. The connecting rods are healthy and reusable. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. These are used original BMW parts.
