ITEM: steering rack, 122k
DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was removed from a 2001 Z3 2.5i Roadster with ~122k miles. It is the 2.7 ratio rack, not the 3.2 ratio version. The input shaft splines have some minor surface rust, but the shaft should clean up well. The motion of the rack is smooth and free from irregular play, clicking, or binding. The housing has no serious oxidation or cracks, and all mounting points are intact. Please review the photos for details. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
