DESCRIPTION:
This power steering rack was taken from a 2000 Z3 2.3 Roadster with ~109k miles. This is the quicker 2.7 ratio rack, not the 3.2 ratio version. The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged, and the motion of the rack is smooth and quiet with no irregular play or binding. The housing has no rubbing damage, no cracks, and no serious oxidation. The rack gear has some spotty surface rust at its outer edges, but there is no deep pitting and the surfaces should clean up well. The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
