ITEM: dmg'd cylinder head, 87k
DESCRIPTION:
This cylinder head was taken from a fire damaged 2022 M440iX with ~87k miles. The cylinder head has some damage. There was a melted piece of aluminum stuck in one of the areas below the front of the intake cam. This piece was removed. In the process a drill nicked in the cylinder head in 2 places. There are also some prying marks around the edges of the valve cover mating area and on the bottom cam lobe. There are a couple minor nicks in the valve cover mating surface as well. The cylinder head has lots of soot and melted plastic stuck all throughout and will need to be thoroughly cleaned. Otherwise, the block/head mating surface has been checked, and it has no warp or visible cracks. The camshafts are not included. The valves are included, as shown.
