ITEM: dmg'd throttle body, yellow
DESCRIPTION:
This throttle body has the yellow sticker. Please verify that the throttle body you are replacing also has the yellow sticker, as opposed to the blue sticker. The donor car was a 2000 528i Sedan with ~129k miles. The throttle was disconnected and sitting exposed in the engine bay. There is some evidence that it got wet, and some water has collected on the outside of the throttle plate. I was able to clean the throttle up, but it still gets stuck slightly at the closed position. There is also some minor corrosion on the throttle plate. I do not think the throttle was powered while it got wet. There is no corrosion on the electrical plug. The housing is undamaged, and all the mounting points are intact.
