ITEM: dmg'd timing cover
DESCRIPTION:
One of the baffles on the back side of the cover has a chunk broken off of it. The cover is not cracked, and it will likely work normally. There is no serious corrosion, and all the mounting points are intact. This timing case has a mount for a crankshaft position sensor on the front face, although the mount is not normally used on the M54 engines that this case fits. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
