ITEM: dmg'd camshaft pair, 193k
DESCRIPTION:
These camshafts were taken from a 2004 X3 3.0i with ~193k miles. The pair includes the inlet and exhaust camshafts. There is some surface rusting in small areas on the lobes on each camshaft. The rust will need to be cleaned up. I'm not sure what the extent of the damage to the surfaces is. The lobes have some light scuffs, otherwise, but no scoring or irregular wear. Several of the bearing surfaces on the intake cam have light score marks that are deep enough to be felt by my passing fingernail. The exhaust cam has one surface with scoring. These score marks are deep enough to catch my nail. The other surfaces are smooth and show only, light, normal wear. Details can be viewed in the photos. These are used original BMW parts.
