ITEM: dmg'd M left side mirror, silver-grey
DESCRIPTION:
This paint on this side mirror is Silver-Grey Metallic (BMW paint code: A08). This mirror only came from the factory on the M3. It can however be retrofitted to any E46 Coupe / Convertible model. The mirror has Electric Adjustment, Memory, and Heating. The donor car had serious electrical issues, so the functions could not be tested. The mirror panel has significant browning damage from the heating element, so it should be replaced. The painted dome has a warped and wavy area caused by the heat of an engine fire. Otherwise, the paint finish is smooth and nice looking. There are a few light rock chips and scuffs, but no deep scrapes or cracks. The hinge has a small amount of play. There is no bubbling paint or corrosion damage here. The sail is undamaged, and all the mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
