ITEM: dmg'd hood panel, plat grey metallic
DESCRIPTION:
The paint on this hood panel is Platinum Grey Metallic (A68). The most noticeable damage is a bend to the drivers side rear corner. This bend is behind the hood hinge mounting points so the hood hinge alignment should not be affected. There are also two kinks with a surrounding bend in the top of the driver side kidney grill from a collision. The paint is in okay condition, it has multiple rock chips mostly at the front of the hood. Also some light scratches in the clear coat and a 1 inch chip on the backside edge that runs along the windshield. The hinges are NOT included. The kidney grilles are also NOT included. The drivers side hood latch hook is bent and will need to be replaced (BMW part number 7 164 801). The under hood insulation blanket is in good useable condition. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
