DESCRIPTION:
This N57 diesel engine cylinder block housing was taken from a 2015 X5 35dX with ~111k miles after an engine bay fire. Firefighting water entered the cylinders, and all bores show rust. The rust does not appear deep, and there are no visible deep scrapes. Machine shop cleaning and honing are likely required. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The exterior has smoke and melted plastic staining with no cracks, and all mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
