ITEM: dmg'd engine block, 50k
DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was taken from a 2018 M3 Sedan with ~50k miles. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. There are a few points of damage that occurred during the donor car's collision: There is one broken bolt stuck in the block at the front timing case, where the cylinder head was ripped away from the block. One of the bolt holes on the left side of the engine for the engine suspension arm is cracked and deformed, so it will need to be replaced. There are no other damaged mounts but there are a few dings, dents and scrapes in the housing. One sensor has been broken off, so be prepared to replace the sensors and solenoids on the exterior of the block. The cylinder linings all show original honing marks, throughout. There are a few very light scuffs form the pistons in a few places, but there are no deep scrapes or serious wear spots. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The main bearings and crankcase area are undamaged. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
