ITEM: dmg'd exhaust camshaft, 81k
DESCRIPTION:
This exhaust camshaft was taken from a 2016 340iX with 81k that had an engine bay fire. The camshaft has smoke staining in places and some localized surface rust. The #5 and #6 bearing journals have light scoring that can be felt with a fingernail. The remaining journals show scuffs only with no measurable scoring. Several lobes have the heaviest rust and will require professional cleaning and inspection. Resurfacing or regrinding may be necessary. Machine-shop evaluation is strongly recommended before use. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
