ITEM: dmg'd bank 2 camshaft pair, 79k
DESCRIPTION:
These are the inlet and exhaust camshafts for the Bank 2 cylinder head on the left driver side of the engine serving cylinders 5 through 8. The cams were removed from a running 2019 M5 with ~79k miles. The number 2 intake camshaft bearing journal has moderate scoring and wear from oil starvation. The other intake cam bearing surfaces also show roughness, though the damage becomes lighter toward the rear. The exhaust camshaft is much less damaged, with only several light scuffs and one or two light score marks, and the surfaces feel smoother overall. The lobes on both camshafts have only light normal wear with no scoring or widespread scuffing. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. These are used original BMW parts.
