ITEM: dmg'd engine block, 87k
DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was taken from a 2022 M440iX with ~87k miles that had an engine fire. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. The cylinder linings all show some chipping and pitting, which is deep enough to catch a passing finger nails in some spots. The cylinders may need to be bored and sleeved to fix this. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The housing has no rubbing or cracks, and all the mounting points are intact. The main bearing caps are included. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
