ITEM: dmg'd cylinder head, .0015", 45k
DESCRIPTION:
This cylinder head was taken from a 1992 325i convertible with ~45k miles. Cast part number is 1407885. The camshaft and valves are included as shown. The block to head mating surface was checked and there is a very small warp measuring about 0.0015 inches (0.0381 mm) between cylinders 5 and 6. This amount is minor and decking should not be necessary. There are no cracks. The valves are clean and undamaged. Cooling passages are smooth with no serious scale buildup or corrosion. Many exhaust manifold studs are missing and will need to be replaced. The cylinder head exterior has no cracks and all mounting points are intact. The valvetrain looks healthy with no rust or abnormal wear noted. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
