DESCRIPTION:
This cylinder head was taken from a 1998 M3 Convertible with ~143k miles. The block/head mating surface has been checked and there is moderate warp in the areas between the cylinders. The warp ranges from 0.0015" (0.0381 millimeters) to 0.004" (0.1016 millimeters). Unfortunately, the surface will likely need to be decked. I see no cracks in the surface. Two of the coolant passages near the rear of the cylinder head have some minor oxidation damage around their edges. The damage is neither serious nor widespread. The camshafts and bearing ledges are not included. The valves are included, as shown. Many of the exhaust manifold studs are missing and must be replaced. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
