ITEM: dmg'd left front strut housing
DESCRIPTION:
This left front strut housing with wheel hub was taken from a 1988 325ix AWD with ~199k miles. The wheel bearing has a serious wobble and must be replaced, but the hub itself is undamaged. The strut housing has serious rusting, especially on the lower spring perch, and the corrosion is severe enough that there is a hole through one area of the perch. There are no other irregular holes, but the entire assembly should be cleaned, inspected, and repaired as needed before use. All mounting points are intact. The control arm mounting locations have some tooling marks from removal but no serious damage. This listing is for the strut housing with hub and bearing only, as shown. No brake components, shock insert, or additional hardware are included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
