DESCRIPTION:
This drive shaft was taken from a 1999 M3 Convertible that had an automatic to manual transmission swap sourced from a 1997 328i. The front section is the longer, manual 328i section, and the rear section is the original automatic M3 section. The front flex disk is cracked and rotted, so it should be replaced. The front section has some moderate paint issues, where it looks like there was contact with a heat shield. There is a small amount of rotational play in the spline joint that is just in front of the center support bearing. The front universal swivel joint moves smoothly and has no binding or irregular play. The rear CV joint has some resistance along one axis, and some more minor resistance along the other axis. There are no other serious paint or rusting issues. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition.
