CONDITION:
This transmission was taken from a running, driving 1997 318i Sedan with ~194k miles. The torque converter is painted blue, which shows it was replaced at some point. It's possible the entire transmission was remanufactured, but there are no sticker signifying that. The transmission was tested and working in first forward and reverse gears. It worked smoothly and quietly during testing. The housing has no rubbing or cracks, and all the mounting points are intact. The torque converter is included, as shown. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
