This steering rack was taken from a 1998 Z3 2.8 Roadster with ~62k miles. This is the 2.7 ratio rack, not the 3.2 that is found on Z3M and E36 cars. The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. The motion of the rack is smooth and quiet, with no irregular play or binding. The housing has no rubbing or cracks, and no serious oxidation. The mounting points are all intact. The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
