ITEM: steering rack, 2.7, 253k
DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was taken from a running 2002 Z3 3.0i Roadster with ~253k miles. This is the 2.7 ratio rack, NOT the 3.2 ratio rack that is found on Z3M and E36 cars. The input shaft splines have some minor surface rusting, but no serious damage. The motion of the rack is smooth and normal, with no irregular play or binding. The housing has no serious oxidation or rubbing. The mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
