This differential was taken from a running, driving 1997 318i Sedan with ~194k miles and an Automatic Transmission. The drive ratio is 4.44, and this is an open-drive differential. The motion of the diff is smooth and quiet, with no notches, clicking, or binding. The housing has some surface rusting, but no deep pitting or flaking. The flanges are undamaged. All the mounting points are intact. The rear cover is not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
