This differential was taken from a running, driving 1997 328i Convertible with ~195k miles. It is for cars with a Manual Transmission (BMW Option Code: S205A). The drive ratio is 2.93, and this is an open-drive differential. The motion of the diff is smooth and quiet, with no irregular play or binding. The housing has some minor surface rusting, but no deep pitting or other damage. All the mounting points are intact and the flanges are undamaged. The rear cover is not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
