The motor is used on the left (Driver's) side front seat to control the height of the headrest. This part is for Basic or Sport Seats ONLY. It will NOT fit Comfort or Contour Seats. Fitment varies by seat style for 528i and 540i. Please reference the fitment section carefully to insure proper fitment. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
