DESCRIPTION:
This steering rack was removed from a 1999 528i Touring with ~218k miles. The input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. The motion of the rack is smooth and quiet, with no irregular play or binding. The housing has no rubbing damage or cracks, and all of the mounting points are intact. The hard fluid lines have some surface rusting in spots. There are no bends or kinks. The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
